The Funder of Kaaf University College, Mr Michael Aidoo, has awarded scholarships package to 320 tertiary students in the Central Region.


The beneficiaries would pursue courses such as Business Administration, Communications, Management, Human Resources, Engineering, Law, Nursing and Midwifery, Business and Finance among several others.


Mr Aidoo, who is the Founder and Chancellor of KAAF University College and NDC Western North Regional Chairman, said the gesture formed part of his numerous plans to support brilliant but needy students in the Kaaf University College.

Speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com news reporter Apelete Kofi-Michel, at Kasoa the promises of Kaaf University College at a short ceremony, Mr Aidoo noted that his aims was to support the needy through education but more importantly tertiary education.


According to him, though the free Senior High School policy was a good initiative, free tertiary education gave real opportunities to the youth.


It is at the tertiary stage that provides students with the needed skills and qualifications needed for the job market, which will indeed make them relevant in the nation-building, he stated


The Regional Chairman for the NDC of the Western North, had for the past ten (10) years offered opportunities to a lot of brilliant but needy people in the region through free tuition tertiary education in his university and other public institutions.


He admonished the students to study hard to encourage him to do more for them and others who might request his support.


Mr Aidoo was confident that with such support, Western North Region was on course to producing adequate human capital for its development.


The beneficiaries who could not hide their joy over the opportunity provided to them to pursue their educational aspirations were full of praise for Mr Aidoo for responding to their plight.


The former student of Kaaf University College who is the Lawyer Lawyer Stephen Kingsley Bennie also shared his joy for what the Funder of Kaaf University College has done for him. He therefore encourage his Juniors who is in the Kaaf University College to learn hard to achieve their dreams in life.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
