SON OF BEREKUM EAST MCE WAS AFFECTED IN RECENT ATTACKS AT HIS RESIDENCE.

The son of Hon. Kofi Adjei, the MCE of Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region has suffered a severe attack and got injured during an attack at his father's residence by an unknown irate party supporters.

The MCE's son was admitted at the Holy Family Hospital for treatment after he was victimized during the attack.

It could be recalled that some irate supporters of the party in the Berekum East Constituency 2 days ago who were denied with the polling station nomination forms vandalized the party's office and continued the attack at the MCE residence smashing the windscreen of his private car and other properties.

According to the irate supporters, because they were denied of the polling station forms and could not find any place to buy the forms and don't know where to get some of the forms to buy for their respective positions, hence their decision to cause the commotion in the Constituency to draw the attention of party's National and Regional leadership for their assistance to find a way to get the nomination forms.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ACCEPT EIGHT GAZETTED CHIEFS

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. The chiefs, numbering 8, got their titles as "Osaberima" to be added to their traditional and rulership names. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council.
