Ahafo/R: Neglect of Inter-Schools Games in Deprived areas is the Cause of Ghana Football Diminish-Chief of Kwasu.

                          Nana Fosu Boadi Amponem

The Chief of Kwasu, a farming community near Bechem in the Tano South Municipal of the Ahafo region, Nana Fosu Boadi Amponem, has revealed that, the fall of Ghana football has been the neglect of inter-schools games in local schools in the country by the Ghana Sports Authority and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

According to Nana Fosu Boadi Amponem, the government and Ministry of Youth and Sports should focus on inter-schools activities in the country especially the rural communities because there's a lot of talent to ameliorate the Ghana football as compare to previous regime and  therefore urge them to concentrate on our inter-schools activities to enhance the country's football.

In an interview with with Alrich24newsgh.com, Nana used the opportunity to deplore over the unprecedented Black Stars penurious performance on the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nation in Cameroon which became topic of discussion in the country and called on government to rescue the country football situation as Ghana is known to be a football nation.

He added that, currently Black Stars players don't for passion but are there for money and not of the country as it used to be some years ago of which some players sacrificed for the country but the current black star players are just refusing to die for the country.

He therefore tasked the ministry of youth and sports, the government to reconsider bringing the Black Stars back to it's image of performance to redeemed the shame the team recently brought to Ghana during their early exit in the 2021 AFCON.
