Jaman South Development Fund Planning Committee Inaugurated by MCE.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), of Jaman South in the Bono Region, Hon. Andrews Bediako, popularly known as Andy Young has inaugurated a nine-member committee to help foster development in the municipality. 


The formation of the 9-member committee was initiated by the MCE during the first general assembly meeting.


The MCE tasked the committee members to work hard to secure all available avenues to promote the development of the Municipality. The MCE made mention of such a committee during his first general assembly meeting and it has now come to stay. 


The MCE in an interview with Odiahenkan Asuo Tano of Alrich24newsgh.com highlighted on the motive of the committee which is to bring many people (both in Ghana and outside) on board so as to get more resources to develop Jaman South.


According to the MCE, he will not focus on a single area but will rather work across all sectors to promote the developmental agenda in the Municipality, including education, health and businesses.

 

In the swearing ceremony, the MCE stated that, there are many areas in Jaman South that can generate revenue for the municipality including tourist sites and among other sectors.

The nine member committee are: Dr. Patrick Ohemeng Gyaase-Chairman,

Dr. Paul Osei Brafi, 

Nana Adjei Gyedu,

Nana George Hinneh,

Nana Charles Bosomtwe,

Mr. Kwame James Adams,

Hon. Kwang Godfred, 

Hon. Samuel Obeng Takyi and Hon. Siata Watara.


The chairman of the committee, Dr Patrick Ohemeng Gyaase, also explained that, they will work diligently to support the municipality in delivering it's socio-economic endeavours of development that will transform the lives of the people in the Municipality.
