37th District Farmers Day Celebration Begins Tomorrow in the Central Region ahead of the National Celebrations as a Host.

CENTRAL REGION CELEBRATES DISTRICT FARMERS DAY TOMORROW AS THEY HOST THE NATIONAL ONE.

Central Region, the host of the 2021 National Farmers Day celebration will commence a series of activities from tomorrow Friday, 26th November 2021.


The 37th edition will be the fourth time the Central Region is hosting the country in remembering and awarding hardworking farmers.


This year's team; "Planting for Food and Jobs – Consolidating Food Systems in Ghana" seeks to showcase agricultural produce across the country.


Mr Tally Ansah Aseidu, Central Regional Coordinating Council Public Affairs Director in an interview, outlining the activities said;


There will be a District Farmers Day celebration across various Districts in the region from tomorrow Friday, 26th November 2021.


On Monday, 29th November, there will be the Official Opening of the Farmers Day celebration In Cape Coast.


It will be followed by Regional Focus which will give the other 15 regions the chance to exhibit their produce.


The general celebration will be held on 3rd December 2021 at Adisadel College - Cape Coast.


He is optimistic that farmers in the region will win some awards.


Mr Tally said the region has contributed much to the agricultural sector especially in the fisheries sector.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
