Hawa Koomson donates 4×4 Toyota Pick Up and Motorcycle to Kasoa Police Command

HON. HAWA KOOMSON DONATES 4×4 TOYOTA PICK UP AND A MOTORCYCLE TO THE KASOA POLICE COMMAND.

As part of her efforts to combat crime and improve security challenges within the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, the Member of Parliament for the Area, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson aka "Obaatanpa", has on 27th October, 2021, donated a 4×4 Toyota pickup and a Motorbike to the Kaso District Police Command.


The MP, who doubles as the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development (MoFAD), indicated that the gesture was part of the measures she is putting in place to assist the Police in the Constituecy to deal with security challenges in the area. 


Additionally, the MP reiterated that, as a matter of urgency she is currently installing and fixing over ten thousand (1000) street lights across all the electoral areas in the Constituency, Dubbed: "Operation Let There Be Light" whichbshe believes will go a long way to reduce rampant  crime scenes in the the area.



The Kasoa Regional Police Second-In-Command (2 I/c), ACP Oduro Amaning on behalf of the District Police Command expressed his gratitude to Hon. Hawa Koomson for her timely intervention of her contributions towards the efforts of the Ghana Police Service.


He therefore promised that the police will make judicial use of the vehicle and the motorbike in the fight of crime in Kasoa and it's environs. 


In attendance were, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Anita Love Obo Amissah, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Coastal Development Authority Hon. Emmanuel Anim Affram, Senior Police Officers, Chiefs, Party Executives and other high profiled dignitories grace the occasion.
