B/R: Wamfie to Get First Ever Radio Broadstating Station.

WAMFIE TO GET THE FIRST EVER RADIO BROADSTATING STATION.

A Community Radio Broadcasting Station yet to be open at Wamfie, the District Capital of Dormaa East in the Bono Region has been granted the authorization by the National Communications Authority NCA to start it's operations. 


The station which name withheld will be operated and owned by the MP of Dormaa East Hon. Twum-Barima in collaboration with Twum-Barima Foundation the authorization holders.


National Communication Authority NCA issued a five 5 year broadcasting authorisation spectrum to the Fundation on 26the October, 2021 with a transmission frequency of 103.1mhz.


Alrich24newsg.com in an interview with some people in Wamfie to share their joy about the new radio station expressed their joy about the news of the people to have a local based radio station other than to listen to a radio station from outside. 


The people commended their MP, Hon. Paul Twum-Barima for the idea of given the people a radio station to inform, educate and entertain them locally.


In conclusion they thanked the MP for the vision to bring the radio station to the town and said they believed it will help contribute the branding of Wamfie as other people will hear and know more about Dormaa East Constituency which in turn will bring development.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
