Assembly Man Donates Bicycles to his Unit Committee Members.

ASSEMBLY MEMBER DONATES BICYCLES TO HIS UNIT COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO BOOST THEIR SUPPORT TOWARDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. 

The Assembly member of Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti who also doubles as the News reporter of Oyerepa FM/TV, Hon Kofi Adade also known in media as Al Jazeera has on Monday 25th October, 2021 donated 5 bicycles to his Unit Committee Members to boost their dedication to improve upon their obligations towards the community development. 


Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the assemble member explained that, the work they have engaged themselves in demands dedication since no salaries are given as their reward hence they must sacrifice most of their activities. Adding that, he is giving them the bicycles to encourage them to work hard to transform the electoral area with this support. 


According to him each of the 5 bicycles costed him Ghç400.00 to be given to the 5 unit committee members for their daily activities especially whenever meetings are called for their presence and other movements. 


In his advised implored them that, whoever is not ready and dedicated to work for the progress of the electoral area shoud not context for the position next time else in doing that will retard the progress of the area.

The Queen Mother of Kumawu Dadease Nana Akua Akyiaa, applauded Hon Kofi Adade and showered blessings on him for supporting the unit committee members and said what the Assembly Member has started will go a long way to bring change in their community.


The Unit Committee Secretary, on behalf of the other members commended Hon Kofi Adade for supporting them with the bicycles,  a gift they were not expecting it, an initiative that has to be born by the government has solely been done by their Assembly Member deserves a commendation, he said.


He concluded that, the unity Hon Kofi Adade has brought among the committee members is beyond their expectations and ssid will bring better things to the community and also called on other assembly members to emulate what Hon Kofi Adade has done and pledged to take good care of the bicycles to achieve its purpose.
