Tano South MCE Confirmed with 100% Victory by Assembly Members.

Assembly Members Confirmed Tano South Municipal Chief Executive with 100% Victory.

The Assembly Members in the Tano South Municipality of the Ahafo Region has endorsed the President nominee, Collins Offenem Takyi as Municipal Chief Executive ( MCE ) for the area.


On his endorsement, 54 Assembly Members voted (Yes) which represent 93% while 4 Voted (No) out of the total 57 Assembly members in the house.


After the endorsement, Municipal Chief Executive, Collins Offenem Takyi, expressed his appreciation for the huge endorsement by the Assembly Members in the Municipality.


He therefore urged the Assembly members that he will work together with them to improve the developmental standards of the municipality.



The Ahafo Regional Chairman of NPP, Mr. Owusu Sekyere, on his part ceased the opportunity to hailed the Assembly Members in the Tano North and Tano South Municipalities for putting political parties aside to endorsed the President nominee's so that they can continue their good works to improve developmental projects in the area.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
