Sunyani West MCE Overwhelmingly Confirmed by Assembly Members.

BONO REGION CONFIRMS FIRST GOVERNMENT NOMINEE AT SUNYANI WEST.

Members of the Sunyani West Municipal Assembly have overwhelmingly voted to confirm Mr. Kusi Boadu as the new Municipal Chief Executive.


He polled 38 votes of the 55 valid votes cast to secure a 69% confirmation from the jubilant Assembly Members.


The election, which was supervised by the Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene and officials of the Electoral Commission was organised smoothly at the forecourt of the assembly.

Mr Kusi Boadum who survived a fatal accident some few weeks ago, upon taking the oath of office after his victory, expressed his gratitude to the members of the assembly for his confirmation and gave assurances that he will consult and work with them and all relevant stakeholders towards the development of the municipality.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
