MMDCE's Appointment should be selected by party delegates - NPP formerTescon Vice President.

MMDCE's APPOINTMENT SHOULD BE SELECTED BY PARTY DELEGATES-NPP FORMER TESCON VICE PRESIDENT PROPOSES.

The former NPP Tescon Vice President at the University of Education Winneba-Mampong Campus, Appau Simon has proposed for the appointment of MMDCE's should be done by the party's grassroots members by election to avoid poor performance of MMDCE's.

I think it will be fair to everyone in NPP if delegates in every District or Municipal are given the opportunity to elect their preferred personalities to occupy the position of MMDC's, the winners will then be presented to various Districts by the President as nominated MMDCE's.

I hope everyone knows the work of delegates in the party when it comes to the selection of leadership in the party from the grassroot to the national level and if they can elect the candidates and flagbearers for the party, let's all agree they can equally elect

MMDCE's and should be given the mandate to elect their MMDCE's because they know the hard-working, loyal, honest and  dedicated people in their districts better than any other person outside the various Districts, Municipal and Metropolitan.

Given delegates the mandate to elect their preferred personalities will prevent the delays and also blaming the President for MMDCE's poor performances and complains from party grassroots.

This is my humble request to the party hierarchy if adhered to can help break the 8 come 2024 general elections.

Thanks

Appau Simon

Tain information Minister.
