MCE of Tano North Appreciates President Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr. Bawumia for the Opportunity given him.

Hon. Ernest Kwarteng writes to Express Appreciation to President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia.

My profound and heartfelt gratitude goes to the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Vice President, His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and the embodiments of the people of Ghana for giving me the opportunity to serve the good people of Tano North once again. I am humbled and indeed overwhelmed by the outpouring of congratulatory messages and calls on my nomination and confirmation as the Municipal Chief Executive for Tano North.

First and foremost, it is with the greatest humility that I acknowledge the support of Traditional and Religious Leaders, Chief of Staff, the Minister for Local Government, National and Regional Vetting Committees, Regional Minister, Member of Parliament, Hon. Evans Bobie Opoku (Deputy Minister for Youth and Sport), Regional and Constituency Party Executives, Nana Yaw Basoa (Council of State member for Ahafo Region), Nana Dr/Dr Albert Brown Gaizie, Honourable Presiding Member and our gallant Assembly Members, Workers of Tano North Municipal Assembly, Institutional Heads in the Municipality, Family, Friends, Media and everyone. I am extremely grateful for the confidence reposed in me and the support. I hope and pray the wonderful camaraderie within us would continue to exist.

I am determined to do all in my power to accomplish the task of this renewed mandate and thereby justify the confidence reposed in me. With God on our side and with your help, I assure you that I will do my best not to let you down.

Finally, I would like to express my utmost gratitude to my Father in heaven who has been with me through the storm and my dear brother, Dr. Gideon Boako (Economic Advisor and Spokesperson to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana).

Let us not allow divisive spirit to creep into our great Party and Municipality but rather unite and prop us up for rigorous work on the ground to ensure we "break the eight" jinx come 2024 General Elections.

Thank you and may God continue to bless us all and our Homeland Ghana!

Signed

Hon. Ernest Kwarteng

(Municipal Chief Executive, Tano North)
