Highlights of New Academic Calendar for 2020/2021 Academic Year.

The Ghana Education Service has released a new academic calendar for the 2020/2021 academic year. 


The changes to the old academic calendar affects the 1st and 2nd Sessions of the 2nd semester for Green and Gold tracks students for SHS 1&2.


Form One 1 Green students are on holidays and are preparing to return to school on: 

1st September, 2021 to begin 2nd Semester and will stay in school until 28th January, 2022.


Form One 1 Gold students are in school and will vacate on:

 28th August, 2021. They will return to school on 10th October, 2021 to complete the 2nd Session of the 2nd Semester which ends on 28th January, 2022.


 Form Two 2 Green Students are in school and will vacate on:

28th August, 2021. They will return to school on 30th October, 2021 to complete the 2nd Session of the 2nd semester which ends on 28th January, 2022.


Form Two 2 Gold Students are on holidays and they will return to school on:


1st September 2021. To stay in school from September, 2021 until 28th January, 2022.


Form Three 3 Final  Year SHS Students:


Calendar remains unchanged. Will stay in school until the end of WASSCE on 9th October, 2021.


 Please note that on 30th October, 2021 Gold 1, Gold 2, Green 1 and Green 2 will all be in school because SHS form three 3 students are out of school.

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. Julius Debra at the Presidency the death of government officials who were on board a military helicopter crash today Wednesday 6th August, 2025 at Adansi Akrofuom.
