AHAFO REGIONAL MINISTER COMMISSIONS 12-UNIT CLASSROOM AND GIRL'S DORMITORY BLOCK AT SAMUEL OTO PRESBYTERIAN SHS IN TECHIMANTIA.
The Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon George Yaw Boakye has advised the students of Samuel Oto Presbyterian Senior High School at Techimantia in the Tano South Municipal to be disciplined and obedient to their tutors towards their academic exercises.
At the commissioning ceremony at Samuel Oto Presbyterian SHS called on the students to be discplined in their educational activities, a core mandate to achieve an academic excellence and tasked them to maintain the good reputation of the school as one of best SHS in the Ahafo Region.
The Minister together with the MCE for Tano South, Hon, Collins Offenem Takyi and the Member of Parliament in the constituency, Hon, Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere unveiled a 12-unit Classroom Block, a Girl's Dormitory Block in the school which was fund by Ghana Educational Trust Fund (GETFund)
The Minister in another development also presentated a brand new pick-up vehicle to the school to improve upon their daily services and activities in the school when it comes to transportation.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tano South, Hon, Collins Offenem Takyi, used the opportunity to highlight the performance of the NPP administration in the Municipality and for that matter in the region saying, a 32 unprecedented different educational projects including the office of the Regional Education and other projects in the rural areas have been undertaken to improve upon the educational standard in the municipality and thanked the President Nana Akufo Addo for his vision in supporting the educational development in the municipality and the region.
The Headmaster of the School Mr. Evans Asare, thanked the Regional Minister, the MP and the MCE for their contribution to uplift the face of Samuel Oto Presbyterian Senior High School in the Municipality and promised to help maintain the facilities to make good used of them to enhanced better education in the institution.
