TTI Student Escaped Suicide After Drinking Poisonous Chemical. 


A 17 year old girl of the Takoradi Technical Institute (TTI) in the Western Region has been hospitalized after drinking a poisonous substance suspected to be ddt. 


The girl was admitted at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital after her friends suspected her  of drinking some chemical believing to be poison.


Faustina as she is called in the school was rushed to the hospital after she fainted at the campus.


She therefore confessed later of drinking the ddt chemical to end her life over a trauma she is going through in her life even in the school. She claims life has been unbearable for her and decided to end it all thus why she took the poisonous substance. 


She has since been responding to treatment after being save by her friends and the institute authorities for sending her to the hospital when she got fainted.

The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum.
