ThinkAid Foundation Donates To World of Friends Children's Home in Berekum.

THINKAID FOUNDATION-GHANA DONATES TO WORLD OF FRIENDS CHILDREN'S HOME. 

A Non-Profit Organisation, ThinkAid Foundation base in Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region has donated assorted food items to the world of Friends Orphanage Home in Berekum. 


The items which includes rice, cooking oil, tissues, soaps, detergents, sardines amongst others were presented to the home to help boost the welfare of the children.


Speaking to Alrich24newsgh.com the CEO of ThinkAid Foundation, Kofi Adane expressed that he is ever ready to offer his support to the society through the foundation. 

The Foundation which has a mission is to support the less privileged people in the rural and deprived communities in the field of health, education, accommodation, poverty, job training, imprisonment, physical and mental disabilities and is not going to be reluctant on it, he said. 


He said, the donation to the children home is one the charitable programs of ThinkAid and this donation will not be the last one but will continue to visit the children home and other homes.


According to him the foundation has supporting some vulnerable people in the society especially the people in Berekum and will soon extend it's aid to other towns apart from Berekum. 


The Caretaker of World of Friends Children's Home, Madam Serwaa Akoto thanked ThinkAid Foundation for their timely intervention to support them at the time they need it most.



She therefore through the donation called for more support from individuals and other organisations to come to their aid.


Among some of the officers of ThinkAid Foundation who made the donation were Rita-Secretary, Ellen Owusu Yeboah-Welfare, Frank Amponsah-Finance Manager and Samuel Nsowa-Head of IT.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
