Brosankro Community drinks water from gutter at Sunyani East Municipality.

LACK OF PORTABLE DRINKING WATER COMPELS BROSANKRO RESIDENTS TO DRINK FROM GUTTER.

The people of Brosankro a farming community in the Benua Nkwanta Electoral Area in the Sunyani East Municipality of the Bono Region are crying over lack of portable drinking water.


The people are lamenting a lot with the reason that they have been drinking from a gutter as their only source of water for a very long time because it is the only sources of drinking water in the town.

They have a population of about thousand but the residents but because water has been in scarcity in the area   and they are therefore appealing to their Member of Parliament MP of the area, Hon. Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh of Sunyani East to come to their aid to construct a portable borehole for them to drink from.

Hon. Isaac  Kwaku  Salifu, the Assembly Member of  Benue Nkwanta  Electoral  Area also appealed on Non- Government  Organisations (NGO), the Government and other individuals to come to their aid and provide the people of Brosankro a borehole.



He again called to the Member of Parliament (MP) of the area Hon. Ameyaw Cheremah and Bono Regional Minster Hon. Justine Banahene as a matter of urgency to respond to their call by providing Brosankro with a portable drinking water and this he said to Alrich24newsgh.com.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
