Updates of a 28 year-old man stabbed at Seikwa; Suspect Yaw Painter has been remanded by Berekum Magistrate Court.

YAW PAINTER HAS BEEN REMANDED INTO TWO WEEKS PRISON CUSTODY BY THE BEREKUM MAGISTRATE COURT. 

The Presiding Judge at the Berekum Magistrate Court, His Lordship Simon Gaga has today Friday 30th July, 2021, remanded Yaw Painter into two weeks prison custody to reappear before the court on 13th August, 2021.

SUSPECT YAW PAINTER TO APPEAR BEFORE BEREKUM MAGISTRATE COURT TOMORROW. 

The suspected murderer, Yaw Painter who stabbed the 28 year old Michael Addie  aka King Elliot at Seikwa in the Tain District of the Bono Region will appear before the Berekum Magistrate Court tomorrow for prosecution.



Yaw Painter who was  arrested by the Mampong Police and through the efforts of Berekum District Police Command has managed to bring him back to Berekum from Mampong on today 29th July, 2021.

UPDATES: SUSPECT WHO STABBED A 28 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED AT MAMPONG UPON TIP OF.

                      Yaw Painter Suspect Arrested. 


The Ghana Police Service in Mampong in the Ashanti Region has today Wednesday 28th July, 2021 arrested a suspected killer who stabbed a 28 year old man at Seikwa yesterday over a Ghc4.00 debt own him. 


The suspect Yaw Painter after stabbing the deceased, Michael Addie a.k.a King Elliot took to his heels immediately he committed the crime. 


But upon the timely intervention of the Berekum Police Command incollaboration with the Mampong Police Officers were able to manage to arrest the suspect upon a tip off. 


DSP Andrews Kofi Okonenegye, the District Police Commander for Berekum, speaking to Alrich24newsgh.com said the suspect was plunged by a team of police officers in Mampong who managed to arrest him at his hideout in the one of the restaurants in Mampong whiles the suspect was having a meal and relaxing thinking he has fleed. 


The suspect has been kept at the Mampong Poluce cells and will be handed over to the Berekum District Police Command which controls Seikwa and it's environs. A team of Police Petrol men in an effort to reduce high crime rate in the area are on their way to bring back the suspect from Mampong for futhet investigation and later continue prosecution process in Berekum. 


The people of Seikwa in the Tain District of the Bono Region are so excited upon hearing the arrest of the suspect and have expressed their full support and confidence in the police for the work done.

A 28 YEAR OLD MAN STABBED TO DEATH. 

    Deceased Michael Addie aka King Elliot. 


A 28 year old cloth dealer Michael Addie aka King Elliott has been stabbed to death by his friend Yaw Painter at Seikwa in the Tain District of the Bono Region. 


According to reports gathered by Alrich24newsgh.com, eyewitnesses explained that he was stabbed over a debt of Ghc4.00 a friend owns him which he decided to get it back which ensued a confrontation between the two.



The eyewitness claimed that the deceased sold something to the suspect who is on the run but refused to pay back which the deceased in an attempt to collect it on Sunday 25th July, 2021  the suspect refused to pay him and fought with the deceased.


He later met the deceased in the Sunday evening around 9:00pm and pulled out a knife and stabbed the neck of the deceased who was pronounced dead  at the Seikwa Health Center.


The Suspect who has took to his heels has been reported to the Seikwa Police Station and the Police has managed to arrest a friend of the suspect who assisted him to flee to the neighbouring towns of Seikwa.

The police has since declared the suspect wanted and are searching for him to be prosecuted.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
