President Nana Akufo Addo Commissions Toyota Vehicle Assembly Plant today..

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danqua Akufo Addo on Tuesday 29th, June, 2021 Commissioned Toyota Vehicle Assembly plant.



Nana Addo Danqua Akufo Addo in his speech commended the company for their bold decision to embrace Ghana's economy to start assembling toyota and Suzuki vehicles in the country. 


According to the President's this is a promise fulfil to make Ghana an industrialisation hub in the West Africa sub-region to boost the growth of the economy.


Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, the Minister of Trade and Industry also added that, the company will help produce skill and unskilled labourer to the Ghanaian public and as such the plant will promote matrials distribution from other sectors. 


The commissioning ceremony took place at the Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Co. Ltd premises at the Freezones Enclave in Tema to assembly Toyota and Suzuki Vehicles in Ghana.

The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms.
