Rainstorm destroys Berekum East NPP Chairman Golden City Farms at Amomaso

RAINSTORM DESTROYS BEREKUM EAST NPP CHAIRMAN GOLDEN CITY POULTRY FARMS. 

Golden City farms a poultry farm at Amomaso in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region has been ruined down by a thunderstorm which occurred Friday 5th March, 2021 around 5:30pm.


The owner of the farms, Mr. Kwaku Kankam who is also the NPP Chairman of Berekum East Constituency on Saturday morning visited the site with the media to count the loses he has incurred as a result of the heavy rainstorm thst hit his poultry farms leading to over 500 birds dead. Again 6 coops was demolished beyond repairs and other 9 roofs of the coops ripped off.


Not only the Chairman that was affected but also, the roof of the Presbyterian Church at Amomaso including the town male toilet structure was all collapsed beyond repair. 


The NPP Chairman Kwaku Kamkam together with the affected people therefore appealed to all and sundry to come to their aid and to help rebuild the farms and those affected which is helping the people of Berekum and it's environs. It currently employs over 10 people.

Repair works has since been started to relocated over 8000 birds to another place for their survival at the site.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
