Wife of Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu supports basic schools with nose masks and others.

HON. KWAKU AGYEMANG MANU'S WIFE DONATES NOSE MASKS, CEMENT AND ROOFING SHEETS TO SCHOOLS IN BEREKUM. 


The Wife of the Minister of Health designate, Mrs. Suzy Agyemang Manu, has donated over 1000 pieces of nose masks to some selected schools in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region.


The donation was to help augment government's efforts to stop the spread Covid-19 in the country. Some beneficiary schools were Kato M/A primary school, SDA primary and JHS and Gyaeakontabuo primary school.


The masks were given those who did not have any. As a support to help protect them from contracting the virus. 


The Headmistress of the SDA basic school, Madam Vida Kyere was thankful to Mrs. Agyeman Manu for her kind gesture towards her school and appealed for more chairs for the school. According to her, inadequate chairs in the school has made it difficult practicing social distancing in the classrooms. 


The Headmaster of Gyaeankontabuo Basic School - Mr. Habib Shiabu expressed his appreciation for Mama Suzy for supporting the children with nose masks. He used the opportunity to appeal for support over the bad state of the school structure as the children study under dilapidated classroom made of palm trees.


Madam Jemima Amoah aka Mama Gee, the head of the team that made the donation on behalf Mrs. Suzy Agyemang Manu explained that most school children go to school without the nose masks hence their decision to deliver over 1000 nose marks to the school children as her part to support the fight against Covid-19. 


Mrs. Suzy Agyeman Manu after some days of the donations of nose marks to the school later came back to fulfill an appealed put before them to construct their school for them.


On behalf of her team presented 30 bags of cement and 5 packets of roofing sheets to Gyeankontabuo basic school to help roof the school and reconstruct the structures which has been dilapidated.

Berekum Katohemaa reinntroduces Traditional Akan Games for Children at Kato Community.
