Dr. Twum-Nuamah immediate past MP of Berekum expresses appreciation to his constituents.

DR. TWUM-NUAMAH APPRECIATES BEREKUM EAST  CONSTITUENTS.

The immediate past Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency, Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah has expressed his deepest appreciation to the people of Berekum for the opportunity to serve over the past 8 years. 


Together with his family and some party members attended a thanksgiving service at the Freeman Methodist Church to thank God for the strength given him through the 8 years mandate to serve as an MP. 


He was thankful to the media in Berekum for their contributions towards his achievements chalked within the period. 


The Berekum Traditional Council was not left out with special mentions to the Omanhene of Berekum, Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II and Omanhemaa, Nana Akosua Ameyaahene III for their contribution towards development in the constituency.


Notable achievements under his administration were asphalting of inner city roads, educational facilities in schools, health, energy, and sanitation which were all transformational.

He emphasized that his position as Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health was a blessing as he was able to lobby for the acquisition of ambulances under the One Million Per Constituency Initiative, passing of the Ambulance Service Bill and the National Blood Service Bill.


He finally urged the people of Berekum to always give support to the people they elect to lead them than to fight against them as it retards the progress of Berekum.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
