REJIONDER: Maxwell Mahama arrested for Vote buying in Jaman North.

REJIONDER: Maxwell Mahama arrested for Vote buying in Jaman North.

Date: 13th December, 2020

My attaention has been drawn to a frivolous and concocted lies leveled against my person, Maxwell Mahama on my news GH, of vote buying in the above mentioned constituency.

Fortunately for me the facts speak for itself and I wish to pen down my contributions and tireless efforts to the Jaman North Constituency prior to the 2020 General Elections as follows:

1. I  first donated an amount of Ghc 500.00 towards the organization of the several keep fit exercises in the Constituency.

2. I together with the Regional Youth Organizer, Abdul Razak Oppong attended the routine keep fit exercises organised by the Constituency after several donations made to the organizers.

3. In addition to such donations,I  also donated to the women's wing in the Constituency  towards the mobilization of the Women Wing. That donation was done in the presence of the Deputy Regional Minister, Hon. Siaka Stevens who is also the MP for Jaman North, the 1st Vice Chairman amongst others.

4. Donation of 100 branded t-shirts to Loyal Ladies during my visit to most of the Constituencies in the Bono  Region including Jaman North.

5. Presented 25 bags of cement to the Muslim Community towards the construction of the Jimini/Zongo mosque.

6. Made a personal presentation of 500 branded t-shirts to Hon. Siaka Stevens to support his campaign activities.

7. Lobbied through Hon. Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah- Cheremeh and donated 25 bags of refined salt to the MP/PC for Jaman North, Hon. Siaka Stevens.

8. Embarked on a door - door mobilization at several communities including Jimini, Zongo, Dwuadaso No.1, Dwuadaso No.2, in the company of Dada, Bronya, Johnson and host of others on voting day, 7th December, 2020.

Unfortunately, this is what my detractors misunderstood for vote buying, but the facts again are there for verification.

9. Led the team of Hon. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources to donate four motorbikes to Jaman South Constituency.

10. Made an urgent donation of 30 pieces of branded t-shirts to some aggrieved NPP women group numbering about 30 at Sampa Jimini line.

11. Donated about 60 pieces of branded t-shirts to the Communication team of the Party.

12. Lobbied and instituted a school feeding program at Bonakire R/C primary with the beneficiary been Aldolf Fayoukum.

13. Facilitated several hundreds of party faithfuls on their NSS Postings.

14. Facilitated employment opportunities for a couple of party people in some employment sectors including education, health, among others.

15. Personal contributions including cash to the Constituency Communication team.

16. Together with the Bono Regional Minister, Hon Evelyn Ama Kumi- Richardson donated 5000ghc and 200 pieces of branded t-shirts and ballot sample materials both presidential and Parliamentary to the Jaman North Campaign team.

The list can continue, but for another day and time.

Question therefore is, who in his right senses would embark on the above with the  intentions of making or championing the defeat of the MP/PC who doubles as the Deputy Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Siaka Stevens?

If I had those resources and wanted a defeat for the Hon. Deputy Regional Minister, would I donate such logistics to him if not use same for my intentions on the day of voting?

With the above evidence, I would like to call on all well-meaning Patriots to disregard and pay no attention to the falsehood that has been peddled against my person.

Thank you

Signed

Maxwell Mahama

Special Aide/Political Assistant to Bono Regional Minister 0243772642
