Berekum - Jamdede 100 years refuse dump evacuated by MP of Berekum West Hon. Agoogo.


OVER 100 YEARS REFUSE DUMP EVACUATED AT BEREKUM - JAMDEDE.   

The residents of Jamdede in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region on Thursday 8th October, 2020 woke up to hear the good news that their refuse dump is being evacuated. The 100 year old dumping site has been eminating unpleasant smell which made living in the area uncomfortable.


The Chief of Jamdede Nana Boakye Adjei, commended the government and Member of Parliament for Berekum West Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng aka Agoogo for evacuating the dumping site for the people. Saying the evacuation will bring a great relief to the people living in that community because they have suffered for a long time.   

According to the Parliamentarian, the site has been earmarked for the construction of a market after the evacuation. 


He urged the people to exercise patience and support the Akufo-Addo government as they will all have their share of the national cake.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
