Nana Akufo Addo inspects one district one factory in Berekum.


PREZ AKUFO-ADDO INSPECTS BEREKUM WEST TOMATO FACTORY. 


The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has on 10th September, 2020 as part of his Bono Regional tour inspected one district one factory project currently ongoing at Domfete in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region.


The Weddie Africa  Tomato Factory  when completed will process tomato paste for both local and foreign consumers to boost economic activities in the region.


Speaking at the inspection ceremony, the President advised constituents in both Berekum East and West to understand that his government has fulfilled most of the promises made to the people in the country. 


He thanked Mr. Yaw Boahen and his brother Lawyer Kwame Gyan for the project they have undertaken to help eradicate youth unemployment rate in the country. He advised the people of Berekum never to tolerate skirt and blows votes but should vote for him and the two NPP MPs contesting the two seat in both  Berekum East and West, Hon. Nelson Kyeremeh and Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng a.k.a Aggogo respectively.



Nana Akufo Addo again urged the people of Berekum to support him by voting for NPP to continue the work they are doing to transform the country. 


He promised that every single debt owed affected DKM customers will be paid by the end of September 30 this year as promised by the liquidator. 


The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area, Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II on behalf of Berekum thanked the president for providing the people with asphalt overlay roads which he called on the people of Berekum to endorse 4 more for Nana slogan to help the president to continue the work he is doing such as free SHS, planting for food and jobs among others. 


He therefore asked the president to provide school bus for St. Augustine SHS in his next donations of buses to SHS and also help build classroom blocks for some other schools which lacks infrastructures.

THE SKY TRAIN SAGA—WIld Goose Chase. The Sky Train project which received considerable media coverage during Nana Akufo-Addo’s regime has resurfaced. This time, a purported amount of 2million dollars assigned for the project cannot be traced( according to Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice). Our investigation into the matter reveals  the following facts. 1.The erstwhile Ministry of Railways Development has stated categorically that government did not allocate any funds for the Sky Train Project.  2. The Ministry managed to support the preparation of a 300 page PRE-FEASIBILITY report which was the basis for discussions with an investor group, Ai Sky Train Consortium ( a subsidiary of Africa Investor Consortium based in South Africa). 3. GIIF ( Ghana Infrastructural Investment Fund) was set up in 2014 to partner the Private Sector to promote infrastructural development. GIIF is mandated to invest in infrastructural projects through the granting of loans, acquisiti...
