Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah MP of Berekum inspects asphalted roads in Berekum with Parliamentary candidate.



BEREKUM EAST MP INSPECTS ONGOING ASPHALT OVERLAY CONSTRUCTION.


The Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency Hon. Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah and his Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Nelson Kyeremeh has today Friday 11th September, 2020 inspected ongoing asphalt overlay project in the Berekum East.   


The tour took them through the principal streets of Berekum from Scotch junction where the project started through to the main station, Rawlings market, Mpatapo road and Zongo one way.


Hon. Dr. Twum-Nuamah addressing the media said that loosing the primary elections does not end his social contract with the people of Berekum East and until 6th January, 2021 all that he has to fulfill will come to reality.  


The Member of Parliament expressed his excitement of the asphalt overlay in the city which has brought back the lost glory of Golden City the maiden name of Berekum. 

He promised to work together with his brother Mr. Nelson Kyeremeh to amass victory in the 2020 elections.


The Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Nelson Kyeremeh also expressed his appreciation to the MP for the support given him and pledged to work as a team to continue all the ongoing projects.


He reiterated that if the people of Berekum give him the nod as MP he will accelerate development and progress in the Golden City.

25-Year-Old Young Man Electrocuted in Berekum . A suspected thief by the name Oboshie in his 25 years has been electrocuted at Berekum Nyamebekyere in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono region . According to eye-witnesses, the suspected thief's lifeless body was found on the food vendor metal container as he attempted to steal from the container of the vendor who operates in a metal container. His death attracted a crowd of the Berekum people to the scene on the street of Nyamebekyere as everyone wants to catch a glimpse of the deceased over the incident of frequent robbery attacks and stealing in the Municipality.
