A 45 years old farmer shot dead at Abrikasu



45 YEARS OLD MAN SHOT DEAD AT ABRIKASU-NTAABENI.


A 45 year old farmer Kwasi Mampor has been shot dead at Abrikasu Ntaabeni in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region. 


The man went to farm on Monday with his children at Abrikasu Ntaaben close to the boarders of Jinijini and Dormaa Forest area where the sad incident happened.


His family decided to follow up to the farm after they realized he was keeping longer than usual and met his lifeless body.


According to the children who were with him at the farm, their father was harvesting corn on other side of the farm when they heard gun shot and shout from the man's end.   


The wife also disclosed that her husband informed him in the morning that he will go for his Ghana Card but later heard he had gone to farm. She mentioned names of persons who were at the farm with a gun but cannot accuse them of the murder. 


The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Drobo St. Martins Hospital morgue with suspects arrested and handed over to the Berekum police command.
