Berekum BESS and MESTECH receives brand new buses from government.

TWO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN BEREKUM RECEIVE BUSES. 

As part of the government's commitment to boost educational standards in the country, the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu  Bawumia handed over the keys of 100 buses to some Senior High Schools with 250 more to be distributed upon arrival. Two Senior High Schools in Berekum; Berekum Senior High School (BESS) and Methodist Senior High and Technical School (MESTECH) had a share in the distribution. 
The Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Berekum East, Hon. Kofi Adjei presenting the 32-seater bus keys to the Municipal Director of Education, Madam Ivy Grace Ameyaw, said the NPP government led by Nana Akufo-Addo in their quest to upgrade education in Ghana cannot neglect the distribution of resources such as vehicles which will enable transportation and accessibility of students in various schools. 

He urged the head teachers of the two schools to maintain and use the vehicles for it's purpose. 
Madam Grace Ivy Ameyaw, the director of education received the keys with thanks giving to the President, Minister of Education, MCE and the MP for ensuring the schools to get the buses.

Mr. Enoch Mensah Fabri on behalf of his colleague headmaster thanked the President and all stakeholders who supported the two schools to receive the vehicles. According to him, the buses have come a time the schools are struggling with transportation for students and staff.
He promised to maintain the vehicles and a maintenance fund will be created to cater for routine maintenance.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
