Berekum asphalt roads comeences today with full of excitement from the public.

BEREKUM ASPHALT ROADS COMMENCES WITH EXCITEMENT


The people of Berekum have expressed excitement as 22km inner city roads project commence today Wednesday 26th August, 2020.

They could not hide their joy when they saw Joshop Construction Co. Ltd overlaying asphalt on the inner city roads.


Nana Akosua Ameyaahene III - Omanhemaa of Berekum paid a visit to the workers at the Scotch junction off the Ahenbronoso road to observe the situation as works were ongoing.

She was grateful to President Nana Akuffo-Addo and Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah - Member of Parliament of Berekum East for fulfilling promise made to them after a visit to the Jubilee House. 


Nana Akosuah Ameyaahene III added that, the people of Berekum are now happy to see the reemergence of the Golden City. 


The Project Manager of Joshop Construction Co. Ltd Mr. Duah Agyapong on behalf of the company, thanked the people of Berekum for receiving them warmly to the town and added that they are in the town per orders from their CEO which is to construct an asphalt overlay on the Berekum town roads.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
