A 60 years old farmer shot dead at Jinjini



60 YEARS OLD FARMER SHOT DEAD AT JINIJINI. 


A 60 year old farmer Kofi Amponsah has been shot dead at Jinijini in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region.


Mad. Ama Konadu Confort, wife of the deceased explained that her husband went to farm yesterday but couldn't return so the family followed up to his farm at Danyame on the Benkwum kwanso where they found his liveless body. 


She added that her husband did not have any issues with anyone and can't understand what led to his death. 


She appealed to the police to investigate the matter and arrest the pepertrators who did this act to her beloved husband.


The family of Kofi Amponsah could not hold their tears after they heard of the man's death at the family house. 


The Assembly member for Jinijini Suntreso electoral area, Hon. Oppong Tiah who joined the police to the farm to retrieve the body said the situation has been very disturbing and the people of Jinjini cannot bear it any longer.


He called on the police and the government to help the people to suppress this kind of barbaric acts in the area.


The motor bike he rode to the farm could not be found at the farm.


The body has been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital morgue whiles the police continue with the investigations of the man's murder.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
