NDC parliamentary candidate promises Berekum a University Campus if voted into power..

BEREKUM TO GET UNIVERSITY CAMPUS  IF AM VOTED INTO POWER - BEREKUM NDC PC.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Berekum East Constituency in the Bono Region, Elder Simon Ampabeng Kyeremeh has promised the people of Berekum a University Campus when voted into power.

Speaking on radio interview, he said it is long overdue for Berekum to have more tertiary institutions most especially University campus. He promised to do all within his power to make this dream a reality.

He explained that education is the backbone of every society hence he will work hard to push most of the youth into higher education to have a brighter future.

Adding that he will bring all technocratics on board to push for the progress of Berekum the Golden City.

The Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II has passed on. The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms.
