Zongo youths will not be seen anymore in political violence according to Berekum East NDC caucus coordinator.

ZONGO YOUTHS ARE NO MORE POLITICAL VIOLENT.

The Berekum East Constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Nurudeen Osman popularly known as Oto has bemoamed that gone are the days that Zongo youth were being used for electoral violence.

Speaking to Alrich24newsgh.com in Berekum in the Bono Region, the Zongo Caucus Coordinator said that, every Zongo youth across Ghana have embraced education as the bed rock of every society to achieve something better and progress in life than to involve themselves in electoral violence.

He made this statement when the NDC Zongo Caucus Office was officially opening in Berekum to support the party's activities in the constituency. Adding that most NDC faithfuls in Berekum lost hope in the party but can now say that the opening of the office has boost the moral of the supporters and has brought hope to the people in  Berekum Zongo.

He therefore advised the youth in Ghana especially those at the various Zongo to be up and doing by acquiring some skills for their future rather than to avail themselves for politicians to used them and later dumped them after winning or losing their elections.

He questioned, if electoral violence is good, why not politicians use their children and family members for such work than to used the Zongo. He even went further to explained that, people working in the "Invisible or Delta Forces" are not Zongo youth as it was at first politically.

He finally cautioned the Zongo youth in Ghana to refuse being used for electoral violence in this year's general elections.
