CHURCH OF PENTECOST YOUTH EDUCATE CITIZENS TO BOOST THEIR IMMUNE SYSTEM.

The Area Youth Ministry of the Church of Pentecost in Berekum has embarked on an education program on how to boost your immune system as a measure to help fight Covid-19.

The youth dedicated their weekly radio program on Akomapa Fm in Berekum, to advice citizens as a matter of urgency to start taking in some foods that can provide them essential minerals in order to boost their immune system.

Elder Emanuel Ankoma - a nutritionist educated listeners that the immune systemx holds the entire body in its strength and fights all diseases in the body.

He added that taking healthy meals builds up the immune system and support the growth.

He made emphasis on some food groups that can boost the immune system. Taking in more proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates and minerals. Foods like milk, fruits, cereals, vegetables, nuts, oils and other foods are what help boost the immune system.

The Area Youth Pastor, Pastor Solomon Azagisiya also added that the radio education is part of the youth ministry to help fight Corona virus.

He called on the church and others to follow the educative program always on the radio. He added that in fighting the Covid-19, all the necessary protocols must be adhered to to avoid the spread of the virus.
