NPP PARLIAMENTARY ASPIRANT DONATES PPEs TO INSTITUTIONS IN BEREKUM

New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspiring parliamentary candidate for Berekum East in the Bono Region, Mr. Nelson Kyeremeh has donated some Personal Protective Equipments amounting to over Ghc10,000.00 to National Ambulance Service and Municipal Health Directorate in the Berekum East Municipal.

Speaking to Alrich24newsgh.com Mr. Kyeremeh said, emergency services is a key area to consider in the Covid-19 fight hence his decision to donate some items to boost the work of the Ambulance service and Health Directorate.

He donated 5 washable protective clothing, 5 goggles, 5 boxes of nose marks to the Ambulance Service whilst the Health Directorate received 5 gun thermometers and 5 boxes of face masks.
Mr. Kyeremeh called on the well meaning people in Berekum to support the fight against Corona virus in the Municipality.

Mr. Adu Boateng Marfo, Municipal Officer for the Ambulance Service received the items and thanked the Parliamentary Aspirant for his kind gesture and promise to make good use of them.

He used the opportunity to implore authorities in Berekum to help expand the office of the Ambulance Service. The service is currently occupying a single room office with no residence made available to them. He lamented over the poor living standard.
The Municipal Health Director, Dr. Bedima Duut  expressed appreciation for Mr. Nelson Kyeremeh for the donation.

Currently Berekum Municipal and Berekum West District have not recorded any case of Corona virus yet Holy Family Hospital has been earmarked as a treatment Center for Bono Region and more donations are expected.

His kind gesture comes after donating Veronica buckets with kits, hand sanitizers, tissues and others weeks ago to help the fight the virus.
