Middle Belt Development Authority CEO Inspects ongoing Berekum Rawlings Market project

CEO OF MIDDLE BELT DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY INSPECTS BEREKUM RAWLINGS MARKET PROJECT. 

The CEO of Middle Belt Development Authority, Hon. Joe Danquah has inspected an ongoing market project in Berekum of the Bono Region under one million dollars per constituency initiative.  

The Berekum Rawlings market sheds which was started over a year ago has reached 80% completion. 

The CEO was welcomed by the Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency, Hon. Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah and visited the over 70 sheds market project which is under construction. 

Hon. Joe Danquah expressed his heart felt gratitude to the market women for their patience towards the project and encouraged them to keep hopes alive as the government is doing everything possible to support the socia-economic development of the people hence their share is the market upgrade. He said arrangements are far advanced for the completion of the project. A story building will be attached to the market if all processes gets through under the project. 

Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah also assured the traders to keep calm since every trader will get a place in the market to do their businesses after completion of the project. 
He added that, construction of a story building will soon commence to augument the number of sheds at the market.

The market women led by Nana Addei Yeboah thanked the delegation for their support towards their well being to get them a decent place to trade. She asked them to push pressure on the contractor in charge of the project to complete it on time.
