Football Club CEO donates 1000 nose marks to drivers and passengers in Berekum.


An astute football administrator Nana Baffour Gyima Collins has shared as part of his contribution towards the fight of Covid 19 over one thousand pieces of approved nose masks to the people and traders at the Berekum Main Station in the Bono region.

The owner and bankroller of the Berekum-Biadan based division two side Barcelona FC made this donations to help fight the spread of the COVID19 virus in the Berekum Municipality.

In interview with Alrich24newsgh.com "Berekum Kennedy Agyapong" as affectionately called in the municipality disclosed the reasons behind this kind gesture.

"We all know the burden of this virus to the whole world, the government, the media, individuals and organisations are doing what they can to prevent the spread and this is the little I can do for the people of Berekum, the marks are more than thousand and I promise you this is not the last time we shall do this, it shall continue the donations from time to time when necessary."

"If a passenger or a driver contract the virus in the town, it can spread from Berekum to Sunyani and we need to protect ourselves"

The one time defeated Youth Organizer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Berekum East constituency explains why he is been regarded as "Berekum Kennedy Agyapong"

"I am known as Berekum Kennedy Agyapong not in terms of monetary aspect but people see and compare me to him because of the way I do my things the same as Hon. Ken."

He is also a serious business man and the Chief Executive Officer for G-Man and Sons Company Limited in Berekum who also undertakes mechanical engineering works in the golden city.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
