Berekum West MP Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng donates PPE's to Health Institutions and constituents.

HON.KWAKU AGYENIM BOATENG (MP) FOR BEREKUM WEST DONATES COVID 19 ITEMS TO THE CONSTITUENTS.

The outbreak of the novel CORONAVIRUS named as Covid 19 has affected many lives. It's gives no exemption to any person or country and has affected human lives negatively, where some have lost their loved ones.

We can not perform our normal daily life activities, we are indeed not in normal times.

In view of this that's why the MP for Berekum West who also double as the Deputy Minister for Railways Development, Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng aka Agoogo has demonstrated his unflinching support, dedication and commitment to his constituents in fighting Covid 19.

The MP in his quest to support the people of Berekum West by delivering to the healthcare centres in the constituency with some Personal Protective Equipments, PPE's for use in combat against the deadly disease.

The MP in speaking with Alrich24newsgh.com maintained that, the lives and the wellbeing of all health professionals must be protected hence the presention of the items to the various health facilities.

He MP expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the health professionals, Traditional Authorities, Assembly members, Religious leaders, Political parties faithfuls and opinion leaders for their support in curbing the virus in the country.
Agoogo as he is affectionately called in the  constituency advised the people to adhere to the clarion call of the President to ensure sanitary protocols and social distancing to protect themselves from the virus. He pledged and promised the constituents his support in this trying times and will do everything humanly possible to assist the people.

He again urged the Muslim community during this Ramadan period to pray fervently to Allah to have mercy on his people and hear the prayers of the world countries.

The PPEs presented to the health facilities includes Nine (9) gun thermometers to be given to each facility in the constituency, 300 veronica buckets, 100 boxes of hand gloves, 1000 bottles of hand sanitizers, 600 pieces of tissue papers, 200 boxes of soaps and other detergents.

He also provided Overalls and boots in addition to the facilities.

Some of the institutions benefited from the items such as sanitizers, veronica buckets and soaps are all Chief palaces, lorry stations, markets and identified places in the constituency.

Hon. Agoogo educated the Traditional Authorities on Corona Virus and encouraged them to educate their people to stay safe by staying at home, washing their hands with running water and soap, practicing social and physical distancing and wearing of the nose marks

Mrs. Agnes Aseidu, the District Director of Health who received the items thanked the MP for the good gesture done them as they are need of such items at their various facilities.

On behalf on Nananom expressed their gratitude to the MP supplying the items to them whilst others ate struggling for PPE's, the MP has done his best to supply to them.

They promised to make good use of the items to the advantage of the people in the area.

Adding that, information centres are going to be used to disseminate information to the people concerning Covid 19.

Nananom also thanked the MP for what he has done for them and they continue with information to the people by telling them to stay safe as they observed the preventives protocols.
Hon. Kwaku Agyenim Boateng quite apart from this donations to the health sector in the constituency has already constructed and ewuipa Maternity and Clinic block at Nkyenkyemam, contracted a weighing Center, equipped, drilled of mechanized borehole and Rehabilitated the Botokrom clinic, equipped Amankwaa Chp compound, upgrading of Jinijini Health Center by providing lab equipments, refrigerator, surgical items,office furniture, motor bike, consumables and a generator to befit the facility.

He is currently constructed modern clinic for the people of Benkasa and has supplied baby weighing scale, poly tanks, waiting chairs and refrigerators.

The announcement of the demise of the Berekum Traditional leader was done today Friday 9th June 2023 by the chief spiritualist of Berekum Nana Komfo Kofi who was asked to take care of the health of the paramount chief but on his announcement, the paramount chief could not make it but joined his ancestors. Dasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo II was a doctor by profession and an active Church elder of the Church of Pentecost who serve the people of Berekum with calm and peaceful leadership who seek to maintain peace and unity after 17 years of chieftaincy dispute during his reign as the paramount chief of Berekum. A Student of Ghana National College from Sunyani-Chiraa Scores 8A's in 2023 WASSCE.  A Senior High Student of Ghana National College in Cape Coast, Owusu Peprah Priscilla who hails from Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region has also scored 8A's in the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).  Her effort and the results she obtained have brought great joy to her family and the people of Chiraa without hesitation wishing her congratulations on most of the social media platforms. She started her basic education at Solomon Bennet Memorial School in Sunyani from her infancy.  Priscilla's family and well-wishers are appealing to the government as a matter of urgency to help ensure the right course of study will be offer to her at her tertiary education level.
