COVID 19: Berekum East NPP Women Organizer shares over 1500 free nose marks to smaller communities in Berekum.

NPP WOMEN'S ORGANIZER DISTRIBUTES FACE MASKS IN BEREKUM

The Berekum East Constituency Women's Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mrs. Enestina Asiedu Frimpong also known as Efiritete has distributed face masks to communities in Berekum East Constituency to fight the spread of Covid-19.

She seized the opportunity to also educate the communities on the preventive protocols given by Ghana Health Service. Residents of Kotaa, Akrofro, Mpatasie, Pepaase and some markets in Berekum benefited from her kind gesture.

Speaking to them, she made it known that the only way to overcome the virus is regular hand washing with soap under running water, application of hand sanitizers, observing social distancing and wearing of face mask.
Mrs. Frimpong made a passionate appeal to parents to keep an eye on their children and teach them to follow all the preventive protocols in order to stay safe from the virus.

Efiritete appreciated the MP of Berekum East, Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah, the constituency executives and the women wings  for supporting her to embark on such project to alleviate the spread of the Covid 19 among the various communities in Berekum.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
