Sad News: 59 Years Old Man Found Dead in a River at Biadan in Berekum.


      59 YEARS MAN FOUND DEAD IN A RIVER AT BIADAN.

A 59 years old unidentified man has been found dead in a river at Biadan a suberb of Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region.

The body which has decompose was retrieved from the river by the Ghana Police service in Berekum.

The man was identified as Atta C.K but the cause of his untimely death is yet to known.

The Assembly Member for Biadan East - Hon. Amo Apau Wonder said the man is suspected to have been in the river for some days now as his body is deteriorating.
Members of the community could not understand how the body got into the river.

Nana Kyeame Okra - one of the sub chiefs in the town performed a customary rite to purify the land from such an unforeseen incident having occurred. The rituals were done after retrieving the body.

The police therefore gave permit to the family of the deceased for burial while investigation is launched into the cause of the death of the man.
