Is Berekum safe when it comes to security?

IS BEREKUM SAFE WHEN IT COMES TO SECURITY?

The ever admired Police Commander by the people of Techiman in the Bono East Region is now confused and frustrated about his work on how he wants to deal with crime in Berekum.

DSP Andrews Kofi Okonengye, was recently posted to Berekum East Municipality as District Police Commander. He is taking a bow due to how his work has been frustrated by some leaders and authority in the town. The vision of the commander has hit the rocks in just 2 months.

The man who was embraced by the media personnel in Techiman and the people for his up to task to tackle crime in the area is now confused about how he can overcome crime, the sole reason he was posted to Berekum to combat against it.

Investigations gathered  by Alrich24newsgh.com is that, the municipal commander is now tight lip to comment on any issues of crime in Berekum all because of influences by some leaders in Berekum.

The man is now calling for transfer from Berekum as his motive to combat crime is being sabotaged by some authorities who condole and support crime in the town.

DSP Andrews Okonengye will soon be seen walking through the exit door. The people he is to protect have turned their back against him. They suppress activities to bring perpetrators to book in the town.

Are the people of Berekum secured?
How can a municipal police commander effectively when the people he is serving are not ready to be served?

Berekum would have a third Police Commander in 5 months if DSP Andrews Kofi Okonengye is transferred.
In spite of all these, head of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) has a lot of questions to answer if this transfer is effected.

All efforts to reach DSP Andrews Okonengye to respond to some questions sighted by Alrich24newsgh.com prove futile.
