COVID-19 IS UNDER CONTROL IN GHANA - BEREKUM EAST MP
The MP of Berekum East Constituency of the Bono Region who also doubles as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health, Dr. Kwabena Twum - Nuamah has said the fight against Covid-19 is under control in Ghana. He explained that the government and health personnel are working seriously to contain and control the spread of the virus.
Introduction of the enhanced testing is ongoing and one of the measures Ghana has taken to lower the spread and to contain it. Ghana is one of the leading countries in the testing in Africa.
Dr. Nuamah added that, the government has resourced MMDAs financially to fight Covid-19. Parliament has also approved 100 million dollars as supplementary to manage the fight against Corona virus across the nation.
Dr. Nuamah urged the general public to follow all the preventive protocols to avoid the spread of the virus especially public gathering.
Everyone should observe social distancing and prevent overcrowding in the various markets and drinking spots.
