Covid 19, Berekum Municipality boost with extra ambulance to fight Corona virus as it's chosen as treatment center in Bono Region.

BEREKUM NATIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE RECEIVE EXTRA AMBULANCE TO FIGHT COVID-19.

The Ghana National Ambulance Service in Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region has received an extra ambulance to support the fight against Corona virus. Berekum East and West received two of the ambulances distributed by the government of it's one constituency one ambulance initiative.

An extra ambulance has since been dedicated to fight corona virus within Berekum East, Berekum West, Dormaa Central, Dormaa East, Dormaa West, Jaman South, Jaman North and Tain constituencies.
The new ambulance was necessitated by the fact that Berekum Holy Family Hospital has been selected as one of the treatment centres in the region.
Speaking to Alrich24newsgh.com, the Municipal Ambulance Service Officer, Mr. Adu Boateng Marfo explained that, his department is ever ready to support the fight against the virus in the municipality. He said "a rapid response team has been formed in the municipality and is headed by the MCE, Hon. Kofi Adjei".

He walked us through the protocols of their services as we fight the virus "when a sample test positive, the ambulance service is called to transport the patient to the treatment centre". He explained that all the necessary Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) have been provided to them such as cover all, hand gloves, goggles, nose mask and sanitizers.

Mr. Marfo cautioned people to stay home as the virus spread as you move. Staying home is the only antidote to stop the spread of the virus in the country, he said.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
