AKOMAPA FM GIVES FREE AIR TIME TO PASTORS TO PRAY AGAINST COVID-19.

A Christian radio station based in Berekum - Akomapa Fm as part of their efforts to fight Corona virus on Friday 4th March, 2020 organized a prayer session live on air. The prayer section had great men of God in Berekum pray against Corona virus.
The CEO of Akomapa Fm and Evanglist Bright Radio - Germany, Apostle Bright, gave directives for pastors to use his radio station to pray with the listeners. Over 16 Pastors used the free air time to ask for divine intervention against the spread of the disease in the world.

The prayer section was themed, "breaking the evil flow of Corona" (Jeremiah 1:10). Renowned men and women of God lifted prayers as they pleaded for God's mercies and forgiveness among nations in the world.
The Pastors were grateful to Evanglist Bright for his kind support towards the work of God and the opportunity to allow pastors to pray on the frequency. Among the Pastors who took part of the Prayers were Prophetess Diana Asante - Revelation of Jesus Christ Ministry Int, Elder Appiah Emmanuel - Church of Pentecost, Prophet Samuel Amuzu - Anointing Power Ministry, Prophet Isaac Obour - Holy Gate Kingdom Chapel, Sofomaame Florence Savageh - Calvary Ministry, Rev. Charles Dakora and Sofomame Faustina - Builders Christian Church, Catechist George Amponsah - Presbyterian Church of Ghana - Emmanuel Congregation.
Intensive prayers were said to lower the spread and fight evil spirits behind the Covid-19. Exodus 23:24, Malaki4:1-3, 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 were some of the scriptures read in exhortation.

Prophet Amuzu called on authorities to ensure traders handle food stuffs hygienically.
The Pastors used the opportunity to encourage the public to continue praying and follow other protocols to help prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
The program was hosted by Rev. Richard A. Manu aka Opamago Paparichy who also commended the CEO of Akomapa Fm and Evanglist Bright Radio for the initiative by, given out free air time to the pastors to pray for Ghana and other nations, he thanked the Pastors who took the opportunity to be part of the program as well as the listeners who tuned in. Akomapa Fm and Evanglist Bright Radio thanked you all.

BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ACCEPT EIGHT GAZETTED CHIEFS

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. The chiefs, numbering 8, got their titles as "Osaberima" to be added to their traditional and rulership names. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council. Berekum Omanhene Nana Kofi Asante Krobea has officially been nominated today at Manhyia Palace by the Omanhemaa of Berekum Nana Akosua Ameyaahene II. After a long anticipation over who would become the next paramount chief of Berekum Traditional Area of the Bono region which was gradually delaying in the selection of the next occupant of the Berekum paramount seat has been resolved amicably for the selection of Chief Nana Kofi Asante Krobea by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. Nana Kofi Asante Krobea has officially been unveiled, nominated and presented to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia palace today, 18th May, 2026.
