Covid 19: Lock Down Ghana 16 Regional Borders, Berekum Youth for Accountability and Development calls on government.


                      LOCK DOWN GHANA REGIONAL BORDERS - BYAD.

A member of the communication team for Berekum Youth For Accountability and Development in Berekum of the Bono Region, Pious Odehyiaba has called on government as a matter of urgency to lock down all the regional borders in Ghana to prevent the spread of the Corona virus and to contain it's spread across the 16 regions.

Speaking at the association's educational platform on Akomapa Fm in Berekum together with some communication team members, P.Y. Kyeremeh and Nana Adjei, said "locking down the regional borders will in a way help prevent the spread of the Covid 19 in the country because Italy failed in this direction which has led to the spread in the country." 

He said only emergency situations should be allowed to cross the regional borders else if care is not taken the country will experience a worse situation as we see in Italy before we can all fight the virus.

He continued that only food supplies should be allowed to go through the borders under strict conditions from one regional boarder to another. Adding that the association is prepared to contribute their support to curb the spread of Covid 19.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
