Berekum East Municipal Education Office Benefits from MP's Donations. 

The Berekum East Education Directorate of the Ghana Education Service has benefited from the Veronica buckets, soaps and tissues distribution by the MP of Berekum East Constituency of the Bono Region, Hon. Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah.
The MP  has donated Veronica buckets to be positioned at some Vantage points in Berekum. 

Receiving the buckets from the MP, the Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Ivy Grace Ameyaw thanked him for his kind gesture as we are all helping to stop the spread of Corona virus. 
She said had it not the MP's donation the office was struggling to practice the hands washing directives because only a container was being used at the place. 

Mrs. Ivy Grace Ameyaw took the opportunity to advice students who are in the house to be with their books especially the BECE candidates to study hard since at any time they can be called for their final examinations. 

On behalf of the MP, Hon. George Hinneh who did the presentation added that, the MP has distributed some of the Veronica buckets to Ghana Fire Service, Central Market, main station, Thursday Market,  Rawlings Park and other vantage points in the municipality

He said more are on the way coming including sanitizers and other materials to augment supressing the spread of this deadly virus in Berekum.

Also at the Senase Health Center, the Mp also donated some of the Veronica buckets to the health workers and market women at Senase.

The Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah has earlier provided handswashing facilities to the people of his constituency.

As part of measures to prevent and contain the spread of the Corona virus in and around Berekum municipality, the MP has supplied over 500 veronica buckets and basins. The hand washing facilities have been positioned at some centres at the Berekum central market, main station, central banking points at the roundabout and other places in Berekum.   

Dr. Twum Nuamah explained that the move is to encourage people to keep on practicing personal hygiene to save lives against the Covid 19.

The MP who also double as the Chairman for the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health has called on his constituents to adhere to all basic preventive measures outlined by Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service. He urged the people to practice regular handswashing with soap under running water, application of hands sanitizers, avoidance of close contacts and hands shaking, covering of mouth with tissue when coughing or sneezing. 

Dr. Nuamah advice the market women, drivers and hawkers to make use of the handswashing basin he has provided as a way to save lives as we stop the spread of the virus.

The plastic buckets will always be filled with clean water, soap, sanitizers and tissues will also be provided at all center in the town to be accessible by people.

Some of the people who spoke to Alrich24newsgh.com, thanked Dr. Kwabena Twum Nuamah for responding quickly to support alivating the spread of the covid 19 in Berekum.

They implored on their friends and family to use the water and soap to wash their hands whenever they are close to the plastic water basin in town.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER.
