BEREKUM EAST NDC PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE DONATES ITEMS TO FIGHT COVID-19.

The NDC Parliamentary Candidates for Berekum East Constituency, Elder Hon. Simon Ampabeng Kyeremeh has today donated preventive items to the people of Berekum to curb the spread of Corona virus in Berekum and it's environs.

Speaking to Alrich24newsgh.com he said measures putting in place to fight this pandemic is very necessary and all should adhere to them to combat the deadly disease.

He said, the donation is a way to help stop the spread. He urged everyone to wash his or her hands with soap under running water, apply sanitizers regularly and follow other protocols.

He donated 12 Veronica buckets with tapes, liquid soaps, tissues and basins to some selected areas in Berekum; central market, Rawlings market, main station, Disabled rehabilitation Centre amongst others.
The Secretary for Ghana Society for Persons with Disability in Berekum - Nii Kweinortey Blemano receiving some of the items thanked the NDC parliamentary candidate for his kind gesture. He continued that the society have not been able to provide Veronica buckets and sanitizers for it's members since the campaign started but the donation has come at the right time. He said the material will be used accordingly to help reduce the spread of the Corona virus.
Sellers at the Rawlings market also expressed their appreciation to Elder Simon Apabeng Kyeremeh for his donation.
They pledge that all the necessary protocols for hand washing will be adhered to.
The donation exercise was also used to check the temperature of the people with an infrared thermometer by some medical personnel following the team.
