PCG - WEST BRONG PRESBYTERY MOURNS MRS. IVY AMO-ADADE

The West Brong Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has held a memorial service in honour of Mrs. Ivy Amo-Adade. She was the wife of Rev. Ebenezer Amo-Adade; the Presbytery Clerk.

Mama Ivy died on Sunday 1st March 2020 at Legacy Hospital, Kumasi. She left behind 3 children - 2 girls and a boy.

Present at the service were Rev. Daniel Bosea Gyinantwi - West Bono Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Fei Hyeamang - Past Presbytery Chairperson, Presbytery officers, District Ministers, Minister within the Presbytery, delegation from B/A Presbytery, Municipal Director of Education, family, friends and well wishes.

Arrangements for the funeral are as follows:

Lying-in-State and Burial Service: 4th April 2020
Attire: white cloth

Thanksgiving Service: 5th April 2020
Attire: PCG white ceremonial cloth.

Venue: Bechem

The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740. BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ACCEPT EIGHT GAZETTED CHIEFS

EIGHT (8) CHIEFS OF BEREKUM TRADITIONAL AREA GAZETTED AS DIVISIONAL CHIEFS IN BEREKUM TRADITIONAL COUNCIL. A number of eight (8) Chiefs in the Berekum Traditional Area have performed their oaths of secrecy to be gazetted as the divisional chiefs of Berekum Traditional Council. The chiefs, numbering 8, got their titles as "Osaberima" to be added to their traditional and rulership names. A high court judge, Justice Baayeh, on the 6th day of November 2018, led the chiefs to sworn in the oaths of secrecy before a certificates of recognition was issued to the chiefs as a divisional chiefs. The gazetted 8 chiefs has been granted the opportunity and right to be part of any sittings of the traditional council and by so doing, all the 8 chiefs have been approved by the government of Ghana to be part of the judicial committee of the Berekum Traditional Council.
