Berekum BATCCU supports Spendylove Adjei Pomaa with Ghc1,000.00 who needs financial assistant of Ghc88,426.00 for her scoliosis surgery.

BEREKUM BATCCU SUPPORTS SPENDYLOVE WITH GHC1,000.00 WHO NEEDS GHC88,426.00 FOR SCOLIOSIS SURGERY.

The Board of Directors and Management of the Berekum Area Teachers Cooperative Credit Union (BATCCU) in the Berekum Municipal of the Bono Region have donated an amount of Ghc1000.00 to support 11 years old Spendylove who needs Ghc88,426.00 to undergo a surgical operations.

The class 6 girl who attends Berekum Stopover Prepatory School together with her Headmaster and parents are battling her life out against scoliosis condition. This condition affects the curvature of the spine causing it to curve unnaturally leaving her with unbearable pain, inability to sit, stand, sleep and to do any human activity of her life.

A letter of support has been sent across to the length and breadth of Berekum and beyond to solicit funds for the surgery.
The manager of BATCCU, Mr. James Kwaku Yabedoo populary known as Aban ketewa said the plight of the young girl was brought to bare at a board meeting of which a token was agreed to sponsor Spendylove.

He called on other financial institutions to support as part of their cooperate social responsibility. On their part, the staff of the bank out of their welfare contributions also donated some amount of money to support the young girl.

Speaking to Adjei Pomaa Spendilove, she said it is her dream of becoming a doctor in future. She continued to appeal for support of all and sundery. She then thanked BATCCU for the kind gesture. It was her pray that God will protect  anyone who comes to her aid to leave to see her dream come through.
