50 YEAR OLD WOMAN SHOT DEAD AT BEREKUM KORASO NKANTANKA

A 50 years old woman Hagar Anane, sister of Ghanaian footballer, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu is shot dead today Wednesday, 19th March, 2020.
The incidence which happened at the Nkantanka Nafufu village of the Berekum West District in the Bono Region has brought grief to the people in the community.

Family members of the deceased has met with the chiefs and elders of Koraso Nkantanka to demand for purification rights to be performed before the decomposed body, can be taken from the land.

The chief of Koraso Nkantanka, Nana Asiedu Dartey together with his elders have asked the family to pacify the land with 2 bottles of shinapps, 2 hen, one antelope and Ghc200.00 as sacrifice to the gods. 
One of the inhabitants Mr. Thomas Kyere explained that, the woman and the husband,  Kwabena Yeboah hail from Seikwa and has been staying in the village for sometime now so no one expected this incidence.
He said the man is a caretaker of a Cashew and Orange plantation for a German borga who he has worked with for 4 years.

The case has been reported to the Berekum Divisional Police CID of which preparation to convey the body to deposit at the morgue is ongoing.

Alrich24newsgh.com investigation has gathered that the police together with the deceased family went to the village with a pathologist to retrieve the body from the room where the woman was laid in her blood.
It was disclosed that, the woman was shot at her back whilst she was asleep on a bed at the village.
After the pathologyist examination, the police therefore handed the body to the family for burial and the deceased body was therefore has sent to Siekwa where she hailed from for the burial this afternoon whilst police cotinues the investigations to arrest the culprit Kwabena Yeboah.

NSOATRE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL CONDEMNS THE VIOLENCE ACT THAT RESULTED THE DEATH OF KOTOKO SUPPORTER. The Nsoatre Traditional Council has condemns the uncouth behavour of some of the football fans that led to the untimely death of an ardent supporter of Kumasi Asante Football Club.  According to Nsuatre Traditional Council this  unfortunate behaviour happened on the stool land of Nsoatre which the council sees as unfortunate due to the cordial relationship between Nsoatreman and Asanteman which is dated back to 1740.
