VALENTINE'S DAY IS NOT FOR SEXUAL PROMISCUTY....... METHODIST BISHOP URGED.
The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo has today advised the youth and young ladies to desist from any sexual promiscuty among the youth as the world celebrate St. Valentine's day.
Speaking at the Berekum Methodist Senior and Technical School during his pastoral visit to Berekum of the Bono Region, Most Rev. Boafo said "some of the youth especially the ladies of today, expose themselves to the world wrongly. They do this by showing off sensitive parts of their bodies on WhatsApp and social media".
The Most Rev. continued that "it is very wrong and this kind of life cannot be described as love". He urged the youth to be circumspect of what they do because such lifestyles does not please nor glorify God.
"The kind of love that Jesus Christ gave to the world is not what people are showing but what is important is to live a life of purity, gentleness and one that will bring glory and honour to God".
He further urged the students to be discipline and study hard since hard work pays and also allow themselves to let the school pass through them than to pass through it.
